Never heard of Venezuela? Well it’s a influencial, democratic country in South America being
attacked by the USA!

Venezuela for many years now has been a cheap outpost of oil for the USA. Ruled by a corrupt
right wing government for years, the people of Venezuela have been living in poverty. A few years
ago a popular revolution lead by Hugo Chavez and his party, swept through Venezuela. 
The poor began taking control of private assets and distributing wealth throughout the 80% poor
population. Many initiatives have been installed by Hugo Chavez, and achievements have been
made with the current people's party that were never attained before in the history of this South
American country.

imagine the following scenario:....
Imagine if the USA  attempted to kill our Democratically elected prime minister?
Imagine if the USA DID come in to Australia, and then, using corrupt anti government gorilla
military force, kicked our democratically elected prime minister out of  parliament using these
Anti Australian insurgent forces
             And then:
imagine that all Australians protested, rallied and stopped working and then kicked the USA 
and these right wing gorilla forces out and put our democratically elected leader back in power?

ALL THIS HAS HAPPENED IN VENEZUELA! The USA has tried several times to literally kill
Venezuela’s elected leader, and is still trying. THIS IS ILLEGAL! AND SHOULD BE STOPPED.

MYTH:
Hugo Chavez is destroying the Venezuelan economy
FACT!:
Hugo Chavez, with the support of the people has cracked down on corporate tax evasion.
Subsequently the Venezuelan government has increased its tax revenue by 50%. 24% of this
money is going towards funding to increase the minimum wage.

MYTH:
The Venezuelan people want the USA to free them from Hugo Chavez
FACT!:
when the USA attempted a military coup to eliminate and kill Hugo Chavez the  Venezuelan people
through popular uprising, protests, and stop work actions  KICKED the USA out of their country
and re-instated Hugo Chavez, their democratically  elected president.

MYTH:
The USA believes in, and supports democratic governments
FACT!:
The USA is attempting to destroy a democratic Venezuela. 
       March 1 Venezuela Analysis report; National Assembly Deputy William Lara said  the
US military …was part of “a plan to intimidate and provoke Venezuela”.
       March 17; former CIA agent Feliz Rodriguiz said the USA plans to “bring about change, in
Venezuela possibly through military measures” Rodriguiz also said he personally expected to
participate in a CIA operation to Murder  the democratically elected Chavez.
Feliz Rodriguiz IS THE MAN RESPONSIBLE FOR MURDERING ERNESTO “CHE” GUEVARA.

MYTH:
Hugo Chavez has no support from the people of Venezuela
FACT!:
Hugo Chavez has won 9 (NINE!) national elections in six years!

MYTH:
The people of Venezuela before Hugo Chavez’s socialist revolution lived  comfortably
FACT!:
Under the control of right wing parties that the USA supported, 80% of the Venezuelan population
lived in poverty

MYTH:
Hugo Chavez has done nothing for the Venezuelan population
FACT!:
Chavez in 6 years has eradicated illiteracy, and Venezuela is now officially considered by the
UN for the first time ever, to have eradicated illiteracy. Completely.

MYTH:
Hugo Chavez does not care about the People. He wants to establish a dictatorship
FACT!:
Hugo Chavez’s nine time democratically elected party has built more houses  for the Venezuelan
population in 6 years than all the right wing parties have in 20 years!

MYTH:
The right wing parties that were in power before the revolution cared for their  people
FACT!: 
illiteracy was rife during the 20 years+ of right wing USA supported governments.  80% of people
lived in poverty

MYTH:
Bush says: Venezuela is participating in the acquisition of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
FACT!:
Venezuela has purchased 100,000 AK47’s. These are the WMD’s Bush  was directly referring to.

MYTH:
the USA won't kill a democratically elected leader!? The USA is a fair and just nation
FACT!:
September 11 1973 the OTHER september 11. the USA bombed the Chillean parliament and killed
the democratically elected president, Salvador Allende. Allende was elected by the people, just like
we elect our leaders in Australia. the USA then installed a right wing military officer,
Augusto Pinochet, who jailed, tortured and killed thousands of Chilleans who opposed him.

MORE FACTS ON VENEZUELA

-Venezuela is the 3rd largest oil Field in the world gravmag.com
-For 20 years+ now the USA has been purchasing cheap oil from Venezuela. This  is beginning to
change with Venezuela now selling oil to the USA at market prices. Venezuela has a socialist
party in power lead by Hugo Chavez. This party has  been elected by the people Nine times by
the people of Venezuela, democratically.
-Hugo Chavez has aimed at eradicating poverty in Venezuela and educating the  poor for a better
future.
-The USA is currently attempting to destroy Venezuela, and it's democratically elected party.
A party supported by and voted by the people. the USA is attempting to  do this because
Venezuela is setting an example to the rest of the countries in Latin America at how they can run
their own economies without having to sell their natural resources and manufactured goods
at below market value to the USA.
-the USA has been attempting to install Neo-Liberal economies throughout Latin  America.
Currently Brazil, Cuba, Venezuela and Uruguay are not using this economic system. More
countries such as Chile, and Argentina are not supporting the USA in their illegal and aggressive
attacks on Venezuela
