A gambling man would assume the following...

Can you hear it people? Can you feel it? Can you sense it!??....that's the seeds of discontent
sewn by capitalism a long long time ago, it's the false dreams, and false choices provided to us
in the shopping centre isle of life, it's the 50 varieties of cereals when all we needed was strong
social constructs (education, health, debate etc)....instead they provided us with plasma TV's,
bling bling and the "you can do anything!" mentality.

Can  you hear it people? After a good 18 years of no political dialectic competition from the
"red menace" the bastion of freedom that was proposed in such a euphemistic manner when
those walls fell down in 1989 has reared it's very real and ugly head.

if you can't hear it you may sense the shift...10 years of Howard, and we feel strangely empty,
void of a sense of National accomplishment...we want more, that's why Labour has hit it's
strides again...we want more... what do we want?

A society that once again pushes, espouses and believes in HUMANIST IDEALS!

This opinion piece here is a perfect example of the confusion, and questioning people are
having of our current society, which instead of being driven by the citizenship, it's being driven
by the dollar. A political system dominated and controlled by an economic system is not a
humanistic system, and it isn't even a real democracy, it's a pseduo-democracy.
Pseudo-democracies bread discontent, and questioning....

Hopefully our governments don't go dictatorial on us, and we can shift our nation back to a
truly happy one, one that is Humanist in it's ideologies, and does not place false choice and
economic "dangling carrots" as our never to be obtained possibilities in life.
