Depleted uranium has been noted by many scientists to be one of the most
destructive armaments in the world. Due to it’s weight it is a prized possession of
the USA war factions and its international customers. But in an attempt to seek
military control the USA and allies are not only killing their targets with devastating
weapons but also poisoning their own soldiers, the bordering countries and the
inhabitants of the land they are bombing. DU has been tested many times by many
organizations, with results that vary vastly. Some results from tests by the US
say there is no danger of DU. in 1999 the Pentagon-funded a review of DU, it was
carried out by the Rand Corp.. It concluded that no link had been found. Initial
studies by the World Health Organization and the European Community also have
found no link. But the Rand report, which leans heavily on research into the
relatively mild effects of conventional uranium -- acknowledges that
"few studies to date . . . have focused directly on DU."

This child is completely covered in a white
susbstance of unknown properties. Obvious deformation of face and eyes.
Flash photography at close range obscures detail. ever seen this in a non DU'ed country?

To put the RAND report into perspective the RAND organization is a CIA-front involved in Intelligence projects, weapons development, and underground bases development. You can’t place 100% faith on a report developed for the government, by the government. Tests by the World Health organization also say there is no threat. Independent tests though show that there is a threat from depleted Uranium.
Below is a excerpt from the San Francisco chronicle, Robert Collier, Chronicle
Staff Writer Monday,January 13, 2003 he interviewed Richard Clapp, below is the
text:

“an epidemiologist at Boston University School of Public Health and one of
the few experts to investigate the DU-cancer relationship, is carrying out
a study of Gulf War diseases among Massachusetts veterans. His initial findings
suggest increased incidences of Hodgkin's disease in Gulf War veterans exposed
to DU, but no increases in other types of cancer. But Clapp cautions that
further comprehensive study is needed he wrote:

"The potential for a DU-cancer link (especially lung cancer in those who breathe
DU through dust and smoke particles) is still an open question. I certainly would
not rule it out on biological grounds, and 'no proof of harm is not proof of no
harm,' as we say."

There is no doubt DU is dangerous. That is why german scientists
are limited to 50 millisivert per year. Anything above this and it is dangerous.
Why? Because Depleted Uranium has the ability to change DNA, and cause cancer,
it alters the cells glycocalyx and reeks havoc on the body.In 1991, the UK Atomic
Energy Authority warned that, if particles from merely 8 per cent of the DU used
in the Gulf were inhaled, there could be "300,000 potential deaths".

Nato's ownguidelines include:

"Inhalation of insoluble depleted uranium dust particles has been associated with
long-term health effects including cancers and birth defects."

Which disorder you wind up with depends on where the DU winds up in your system
and what sort of damage it does to what sort of cells. To really find an effect,
the government would have to study all the veterans, especially the 205,000 that
have applied for medical help from the Veterans Administration, and the people of
southern Iraq and test for uranium in their urine, organs and bones, then look for
correlations with various pathologies. The problem with many government tests was
that they explicitly looked for Unranium deposits in ridiculous body samples. For
example they would test for uranium on hair follicles, when they specifically
knew that urine was a definitive test, along with blood etc.

Extreme hydrocephalus; deformity of face, body and
ear. The line running down the right hand side of the head would appear to show that potentially two heads were forming.
ever seen this in a non DU'ed country?

Below are some quotes from the US Army Environmental Policy Institute that show
that they knew and still are aware, of the dangers of DU:

My responses are typed in red below:
"Soldiers may be incidentally exposed to DU from dust and smoke on the battlefield.
The Army Surgeon General has determined that it is unlikely that these soldiers
will receive a significant internal DU exposure. Medical follow-up is not
warranted for soldiers who experience incidental exposure from dust or smoke.

My response to this highlighted line (wording of this highlighted sentence
indicates some form of prior knowledge of the danger of exposure to DU dust.
If DU dust was never a danger there would never be any warranted need to
         medically examine soldier right?!)

[...] Since DU weapons are openly available on the world arms market, DU weapons
will be used in future conflicts.

Logical thinking pattern used: “if everyone does
it we will do it also” innocence through the disassociation of responsibility…
still means you are guilty. This does not stand in a court of law.

The number of DU patients on future battlefields probably will be significantly
higher because other countries will use systems containing DU.

again, indirect acceptance of the dangers of DU

[...] DU is a low-level radioactive waste, and, therefore, must be disposed of
in a licensed repository. [...] No international law, treaty, regulation,
or custom requires the United States to remediate the Persian Gulf war battlefields."
Report by the US Army Environmental Policy Institute: 'Health and Consequences
of Depleted Uranium use in the US army', June 1995

Severe hydrocephalus; again, almost as though two
heads were being formed. what would you think if your wife gave birth to this?

"Aerosol DU (Depleted Uranium) exposures to soldiers on the battlefield
could be significant with potential radiological and toxicological effects.
[...] Under combat conditions, the most exposed individuals are probably ground
troops that re-enter a battlefield following the exchange of armour-piercing
munitions…. Combat conditions will lead to the uncontrolled release of DU.
[...] The conditions of the battlefield, and the long term health risks to natives
and combat veterans may become issues in the acceptability of the continued use
of DU kinetic penetrators for military applications."
Excerpts from the July 1990 Science and Applications International Corporation
report: 'Kinetic Energy Penetrator Environment and Health Considerations',
as included in Appenix D - US Army Armaments, Munitions and Chemical Command
report: 'Kinetic Energy Penetrator Long Term Strategy Study, July 1990'

this quote shows that the USA was aware of the dangers of DU. With this knowledge,
it is possible to make the conclusion that if military personnel were affected
so are Iraqi civilians. Countless stories of children playing with spent rounds and
blown up tanks are heard, and we have all seen the documentaries of scientists
walking around Iraqi cities with Geiger counters going of the charts. It’s easy to
make the deductive conclusions, DU when exploded turns to dust, Iraq is a sandy
dust bowl, people breath. Now is there any surprise in the rise in birth defects
in children? DU doesn’t just disappear when it is used it has a half life of
4.5 million years.

Iraqi doctors say there are many cancer cases that are never reported to the government.

"In a small village, they will say a child is 'sick' and they will think it
has some passing illness and then it dies and is buried and we never hear about it,"
"Other families believe it wrong to admit they have cancer cases - in case it
affects the marriage prospects of their other children. So we may have far more
cases than we realise."

"WHO to investigate radiation fall-out from Gulf war in Iraq"
By Robert Fisk in Baghdad

There are websites out there that say that the death rates of Iraqi children is low,
that it is not high at all, that it is infact caused by the chemical warfare that Saddam did
(and the USA, turned their back on and pretended they didn't see) in late 80’s.
this is not true, and here is the data to support this:

In 2001, life expectancy at birth was reported to be 58.7 years for men and
62.9 years for women. THIS IS VERY LOW AGE. The infant mortality rate for 2000/2001
was estimated at 98 per 1000 live births. 10.2 BIRTHS PER DEATH The mortality
rate for children under the age of five was estimated for 2001 to be 133 per 1000
live births. 7.3 BIRTHS PER DEATH Maternal mortality in 2001 was estimated at
291 per 100 000 live births.

In 2000, there were a total of 195 374 new cases of cancer (except skin) in
both sexes and 126 677 deaths. Lung cancer was the most common cancer in males
and in females the most common cancer was that of the breast.

Interview with Professor Dr Siegwart-horst Gunther
Excerpt from a interview with German professor, Dr Siegwart-Horst Gunther,
interviewed by David Muller, date and origin unknown. Taken from
www.casi.org.uk/discuss/1998/msg00277.html
DAVID MULLER: “I believe that you took one of the DU shells back to Germany for analysis?”
PROF. GUNTHER: “The possible relation to German technology prompted me
to take one bullet to be analysed by four German institutions. The bullet
under examination exhibited a radioactivity of 11 to 12 microsivert per
hour and was highly toxic. Because of its danger the projectile was seized
by German police in special protective clothing and transported to a safe
place. In radiology in Germany, personnel should not be exposed to more
than 50 millisivert per year.” …After penetration…DU particles catch fire…
explodes releasing highly toxic and radioactive products.”
DAVID MULLER: “What are the short term and long term effects of DU
contamination in Iraq?”
PROF. GUNTHER: “From my own observations in Iraq, the long term effect
of contact with DU results in the breakdown of the immune system. Other
   effects noticed have been:
-Many infectious diseases, with serious complications are on the
increase. Sometimes diseases break out which are known in Europe only
   through text books;
-Herpes infections, Zoster infections and AIDS-like symptoms are
dramatically on the increase, all of them possibly related to the
   breakdown of the immune system;
-Premature births are numerous. Congenital malformations of the
newborn show a high postwar percentage (26.8% according to Dept. of
Pathology, College of Medicine, University of Baghdad). In the
countryside, children die in great numbers and are buried without
   possibility of diagnosis;
-During the lambing season in 1993 a high percentage 10% according
to IPA Agricultural Research Center) of abnormal newborn lambs have been
observed. Most of them died a few days after birth”.
PROF. GUNTHER: “According to American Greenpeace, documents released
under the Freedom of Information Act, indicate that the Allied Forces
would have left 300 tons of DU on the battle fields between Kuwait and Iraq,
mostly in the form of toxic and radioactive dust…. The toxic nature of DU
contamination is highlighted with the U.S. Department of Defence erecting a
highly secret $4 million facility in Barnwall, South Carolina just to detoxify 22
military vehicles hit by friendly fire. Some of the vehicles are so badly
contaminated that they have had to bury them”.

there are many conflicting tests in regards to the study of depleted uranium. government
organisations have warned of it's threats many times (UK atomic energy Authority, USA
Army enviromnetal Policy Institute, etc). when looking at the current studies that deny
that DU is dangerous you have to look at the following:
-is there any agendas for the organisation releasing a report that says there is no danger?
-what implications are involved in having a large orghanisation admit to the dangers of DU
are these organisations connected in any way to the governments that are contaminating
the countries being bombed?

the issue of DU has huge legal implications. if reports sum up that there is a danger there would
be huge legal ramifications and would see Britian, France, USA Germany and other DU users
having to pay huge sums of compensation to the countries involved and be a huge
PR fisco for the culprits. this would amount to Genocide (if there was 100% proof that DU causes
these ailments) and would mean the encarceration of a huge list of Political figures and
heads of business. the stakes are too high, for evidence to be proven. DU severity may never
be 100% known... OFFICIALLY.

remember that cell mutation and change is almost instant it
does not take years for cells to shift and change into
cancerous molecules.
